Features

Everything your lab does, in one place.

Eight parts of the day, from the patient walking in to the bill being paid. No modules to buy separately, no add-ons.

§ 01

Booking & registration

The receptionist adds the patient and picks the tests. Frequently booked tests rise to the top of the list on their own, so the common order takes three keystrokes. A neat invoice prints straight away.
  • Search a test or panel and add it in one keystroke
  • Prices fill in from your own rate list
  • Mark an order urgent, or note who referred the patient
  • Walk-in or returning patient — both take seconds

§ 02

Sample collection & tracking

An order is not one thing — it is five tests at five different stages. Limware tracks each one, so nobody has to remember which tube is still sitting on the bench.
  • Record whether the sample was taken in the lab or brought in
  • Follow every test through the lab, not just the order
  • See at a glance what is still waiting on a sample

§ 03

Result entry

The technician types results into a grid, not a document. The app knows what normal looks like for each test, so anything outside the range is flagged as you type rather than noticed after printing.
  • Normal ranges built in, so an unusual value stands out
  • Numbers, words, dropdowns or a paragraph — per test
  • Panels grouped the way they print
  • Keyboard-only from first field to last

§ 04

Reports

Once results are in, the report is already written. A clean PDF on your lab's letterhead, ready to print or hand over — no more retyping the same layout in Word for every patient.
  • Your own letterhead, logo and footer
  • Print, download, or share a link the patient can open
  • Set margins to match your pre-printed paper
  • Notes and interpretation printed under the results

Billing & payments

Built for how labs here actually get paid. Take what the patient has today, record the balance, and print a proper bill either way.
  • Full or part payment, in cash
  • Apply a discount and see the balance update
  • Print on a thermal printer or on A4
  • Every rupee tied to an order, and to a day

§ 06

Dashboard & business reports

The owner opens one screen and knows how the lab is doing. Behind it sit the deeper reports — revenue, collections, discounts, top tests — for the questions a single number cannot answer.
  • Patients today, collections today, outstanding dues
  • Sales and collection reports by date range
  • Most and least popular tests
  • Who booked what — staff activity

§ 07

Referring doctors & commission

Labs live on doctor referrals, and settling commission by hand at month-end is where the arguments start. Limware works out what is owed and prints a statement you can hand over.
  • Link an order to the doctor who referred it
  • Set a rate per doctor, or per test for that doctor
  • Generate a payout statement for any period
  • See which doctors actually bring in work

§ 08

Staff, roles & security

The receptionist books orders all day and never sees the day's takings unless you want them to. And your lab's patients, results and reports are never visible to another lab — that is the one rule we do not bend.
  • Decide exactly who can see the money numbers
  • A role per job, not a password shared by four people
  • Every lab's data isolated from every other lab
  • A record of who did what to an order
